Savannah is 3 & Mason is 2 months!!

How did it get to be Christmas time already? As I am sure there will be lots of photos to come with Christmas, I wanted to get out a few (well, I guess that's an understatement) photos of some of our happenings in the last two months. Hope you enjoy them and don't get too overwhelmed :)...

Savannah is the best big sister in the entire world. She is always wanting to help and is very good at helping to calm Mason down.

Also during this time Savannah has moved from diapers into Big Girl Undies. As parents know, this has its pluses and minuses :) - everywhere we go we have to map out where the nearest bathrooms are. She is very proud of herself and praises herself pretty much every time she uses the potty!

The last two months have been wonderful and we have truly enjoyed each and every minute! Take care!!!

MASON EDWARD HAS ARRIVED

Born: October 5, 2009 (Monday)
Time: 6:48 pm
Height: 20 inches
Weight: 8 lbs. 12 oz.
Eyes: Dark blue
Hair: Blonde

After what some would refer to as the longest pregnancy in history (especially me) :), Mason arrived four days early - with some help from the Midwife. I was admitted Monday morning around 7:30 am (which had been planned), started active labor at 2:06 pm, and Mason came into this world at 6:48 pm. All in all it was a pretty quick event (which as those of you who have been through labor know, it doesn't seem that quick at the time). We stayed at the hospital for two nights and were released to come home on Wednesday afternoon.

Savannah loves Mason to pieces! She refers to him as "my baby" and wants to hold, hug, and kiss him all the time. She is a great big sister!!!

Here are some of the first pictures of our newest addition:

We are all doing great and are rapidly trying to adjust to our new life. I will try and get more updates posted here shortly, as we have taken tons of photos. I just don't get to the computer very often. :)

Take care!

Outdoor Fun!

This weekend we have been able to spend a lot of time outside - the weather has been gorgeous!! On Saturday we went to a birthday party for a friend's, Tristan, 5th birthday celebration. It was at the park and you couldn't have asked for nicer weather. Here are some pics of Savannah playing on the playground -

Today we went over and had dinner at Grammys and Granddaddy's house. The three cousins played outside the majority of the time we were there. The only time they weren't outside was when we were eating. :)

Here are a few pics from their bike riding fun time:

Family Birth Center Visit

In an effort to help prepare Savannah for Mason's arrival, we took a tour of the Family Birth Center at St. Peter's Hospital. You would have thought she had been there before (which technically she has) by the way she was at the head of the crowd. Hopefully, she will be as enthused the next time we are there. :)

Here are a few pics from our visit:

Savannah's Soccer Debut!!

Yesterday was Savannah's first soccer practice. Well, maybe not soccer in the terms that you may be thinking, but there was a soccer ball involved. We signed her up for the Kidz Love Soccer program through the Lacey Parks and Rec. Dept. It is a Parent-Tot program which allows them to get out and have fun building upon skills such as recognizing colors, shapes, animals, etc., and adds in the physical portion of running around - and sometimes kicking a soccer ball (there were a lot of parents kicking soccer balls yesterday). :)

Here are just a few pics of Savannah and Daddy on the field. :)

Finally!

I know, I know. Where has the time gone? Well since my last posting I have spent most of my time laying on the couch (literally), while Savannah and George continue to run the everyday routine. I am currently 6.5 months pregnant with our second child and have been severely nauseated the entire time - s0 much so that I am not working. I am starting to have some periods that are better than others, so at least I can be upright for part of the time. For those of you that are thinking "I wish I could lie around all day," let me tell you - it is not all that it is cracked up to be. There's a big difference between wanting to and having to. :)

It's a Boy!
We found out the end of last month that we are expecting a boy. His name is Mason Edward Price and he is due October 9th. He is doing great! We are all very excited about our new addition. Even Savannah talks about being a big sister and having a baby brother. Here is her first official "Big Sister" photo.

Savannah continues to grow and learn everyday. She loves to run, sing, jump on her trampoline, exercise with Daddy, play with Lynlea and Chloe, swim, do somersaults, and, above all else, be outside. She has done a great job letting Daddy do stuff for her, since Mama is currently out of commission. The one good thing about this situation is that at least she'll be okay with Daddy doing stuff when Mason is born - hopefully!

George has been SUPERMAN through all of this! He does everything and keeps his composure through it all. I don't know what I would do without him. I love you George!!!

Dixie and Jake are doing great! I don't think they understand that we are bringing another baby into the house, but I'm sure they will eventually get the idea (when he comes home and doesn't leave).

Here are just a few pics of Savannah from the last few months!

Hope all is well with everyone! Take care!! :)
