The helmet.

Along with Savannah's tricycle she got from Santa, she also received a bike helmet (Safety 1st you know). Until recently she has been in no way interested in putting it on her head. Here are some snapshots of her the evening she chose that it was cool to be safe (keeping in mind that the tricycle is still in the living room). :)

Look at me!

Big Girl!

Whew! Savannah worked up quite a sweat!

Dixie's 10!!!!!

On January 12th, Dixie turned 10 years old. Where has the time gone? We had a "My Little Pony" themed party at Grammy's house and celebrated the 10 wonderful years that Dixie has been with us. Here are a few pic's from the special party!!

Cooking with Daddy!

With Savannah having her own kitchen, she is apparently now an expert cook! She has decided that she wants to help cook in the big kitchen too. She is getting quite good at helping Daddy stir the sauce. :)

"Gloves"

This last week Savannah received a gift from her friend Addy; a pair of very cozy and fuzzy socks. Savannah decided that she already had socks on, so came up with a different use for them. :)

She wore them around the house, pushing her shopping cart, and saying "my gloves, my gloves."

Thanks Addy for the "gloves"! I love them!!

New Years 2009

Happy New Year! I am sad to report that only George and Granddaddy made it up until midnight. Gramms, Stephanie, and Savannah were already in a deep slumber by the time the firewords went off!

Savannah had her 2 year check up earlier in the day on New Year's Eve. She did such a great job. She didn't even cry! The doctor said she is doing great and she weighed in at 29.2 pounds and is 35 inches in length. That puts her at right around the 70th percentile for both.

New Year's Day was spent watching football. Well, Daddy and Granddaddy watching football, Savannah was just running around.

Okay all you sports buffs - which game was on the TV and what was the call?

Many wishes for a healthy and happy 2009!

Christmas 2008

We hope your holiday was as special as ours. What a treat to have everyone together! We spent our time between the Ellis and Price houses on both Christmas Eve and Christmas day. It took Savannah a little bit of time to get geared up for the present opening, but once she figured it out - watch out!

Here are a few of the hundreds of pictures that were taken (between Stephanie and Granddaddy). We hope you enjoy watching them as much as we enjoyed when it was happening!

May God bless you and yours always!
